Extrusion line manufacturer expands Feddersen Group

The company FEDDEM GmbH & Co. KG is now part of the Feddersen Group. Besides customized solutions, complete turn-key installations are offered by the new member of the Group.

The internationally active Feddersen Group headquartered in Hamburg has set another milestone in its history by founding the company FEDDEM GmbH & Co. KG in Sinzig. Besides the affiliated companies K. D. Feddersen GmbH & Co. KG, Hamburg, distributor of engineering polymers and AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH, Niederzissen, specialist for innovative and application-oriented plastic compounds, the manufacturer of extrusion and compounding lines completes the value chain for engineering plastics within the Feddersen Group.

By continuing the operations of the division “construction of extrusion and compounding lines” of the company Decroupet Maschinenbau with all employees, and having experience in this sector for up to 25 years, FEDDEM began its business operations on 1^st of September 2009. In this way, this manufacturer of compounding lines for the production of high-quality engineering plastic compounds and masterbatches benefits from utilising synergies and know-how available within the Feddersen-Group. Some lines of the new group member are being successfully installed in production site at the affiliated company AKRO-PLASTIC.

The new company is not only focussing on the sale of machines belonging to the standard-program, but also offers customized solutions, as well as complete project planning and delivery of turn-key systems including peripherals, all over the world. Delivery of spare parts, overhaul of second-hand machines as well on site service completes the range of available services. At this year’s K, international trade fair for plastics and rubber, the company is having its own booth, to introduce itself to the trade visitors.
