Two premieres successfully completed

In 2010, the manufacturer of extrusion- and compounding lines Feddem GmbH & Co. KG, part of the Feddersen Group, exhibited for the first time at the world’s largest plastics and rubber trade fair. With the state of the art co-rotating twin-screw extruder FED 52 MTS, utilizing proven technology, the plant manufacturer celebrated 2 premieres at the same time.

„The new FED Compounder harmonizes design and function“, according to Erwin Bell, Head of Production at FEDDEM GmbH & Co. KG. “Besides the re-styled outer appearance, we have implemented some new technical solutions to enhance the extruders performance”.

According to the companies’ statement, the response of visitors to the young company’s inaugural presence at the show was extremely satisfying. The considerable level of interest in turn-key systems shown was a particular highlight. In cooperation with partner companies, FEDDEM designs such turn-key systems worldwide.

The manufacturer of extrusion and compounding lines benefited from several interesting enquiries from existing customers as well as potential customers generated from its first presence at K.
