In the FED MTS series, you will find a harmony of design and function. Heat-insulated segmented covers along the processing section protect the operator against unintentional contact with hot surfaces. For access to the processing section these covers can easily be removed manually without the need for tools. The heat insulation of the cover segments substantially reduces the emission of heat from the process part into the production environment.

This positively impacts the energy balance of the process section and at the same time, it reduces the physical load on the operating staff on hot days. The smooth and closed surfaces are easy to clean. Covers prevent deposits on the process section and the associated supply cables, pipes and hoses. The discharge end of the machine frame and the die head are free from electrical sockets and hanging cables. This prevents hot melt strands from soiling this area.
