Extrusion Lines for Top Performance
The core of our expertise lies in co-rotating, intermeshing twin-screw extruders of the type FED-MT (MT = Multi Task). MT stands for the diversity of applications for which the extruder can be used and for quick change-overs from one product to another.
We demand performance: the MTS model range is specially designed to meet the requirements of compounding engineering plastics, masterbatches and tailormade applications.
Screw diameters of 26–82 mm and a product-dependent throughput of 40 kg up to 4 tonnes per hour are available as well as laboratory extruders. With FEDDEM’s production systems, you can achieve the highest product quality with optimised material throughput. And you can rely on the guaranteed properties of FEDDEM systems and our personal service whenever you need it.

The Ideal Machine for Your Compounding Processes
With respect to screw geometry and available torque, the MT range represents an optimised design for any number of compounding processes – designed for high capacities while simultaneously delivering excellent product quality. Speeds of up to 1,200 rpm and high power densities of up to 16 Nm/cm³ are available. The processing units are also equipped with the corresponding wear protection as required. We configure the worm shaft and the barrel to meet your individual process requirements.

Screw Geometry for Gentle Processing
Outstanding product quality can only be achieved if the screw geometry introduce the energy required for their processing task without partially overheating the product. The FEDDEM MTS extruder achieves this goal by means of the unique screw geometry of its melting and mixing elements in which the product can dwell for a sufficiently long time to absorb the required energy without temperature peaks. As the melting as well as the mixing of fillers can be carried out with screw units having same geometry, reduced warehousing of replacement parts is possible.
